The Flammability Test for Toy is used for the purposes of determining the flammability of toys under the particular test conditions specified. The test results thus obtained cannot be considered as providing an overall indication of the potential fire hazard of toys or materials when subjected to other sources of ignition.

The Asian Flammability Tester for Toy is made on horizontal metallic table. The base body made of heavy sheet metal on which all the structure is fitted. The base body has a sliding tray for collecting the ash and debris of the test specimen after burning. There are two vertical columns on which the sample holding arrangements are mounted. For complete toy holding there are two sliding (up and down) assembly, toy can be put on the bottom assemble and upper one used for holding the sample for proper orientation. On the upper sliding assemble there is a cross for holding the fabric sample in vertical position, for 45° holding of the fabric sample there is a U shape sample holder assembly. We provide the 4 Pc paper clip for holding the U shape sample holder assembly.

There is a special burner which is used for the sample burning. The burner can be fit vertically as well as at 45 degree. There is a manual provision to slide the sample under the sample and away to the sample.

There is a control panel also mounted on the base of the instrument. There are two timers, one timer with solenoid valve is used for controlling the burning flame timing on the sample and the other timer is used to measure the time of burning length on the sample. There is a rocker switch for mains supply of the instrument and there is a push button for zero setting of the second timer.

There are gauges are also provide with the instrument for the checking the flame height from the burner and distance between the sample and burner.

 

All the parts are made of stainless steel, brass and mild steel with powder coating and chrome for corrosion resistant long life.
